Brisbane Airshow - General Information

General Information

Alcohol

No alcoholic beverages can be brought onto the airshow site. Alcohol will be available for purchase at selected outlets

Animals

No animals are permitted on the airshow site eg. Dogs.

ATMs

Vendors may have ATM and EFTPOS facilities on site. The Brisbane Airshow will endeavour to supply a portable ATM.

Bicycles

No bicycles will be permitted on the airshow site.

Cameras and Videos

Cameras and videos are encouraged.

Car Parking

There will be free VIP and General Admission parking available on site. Visitors are asked to be patient whilst entering the car parking area. We expect some delays due to the number of guests attending the event. The show won’t start until most of the traffic has arrived. Please respect all traffic marshals and SES, follow any directions given. Police will also monitor this area for compliance. 

Chairs

No seating is provided for general admission. Seating is available in the VIP area. Visitors are permitted and encouraged to bring chairs with them.

Concessions

Pension and concessions are available at this event.

Disabled

Visitors to the event should be aware that the event is not held on a purpose-built site and may pose some challenges for the very young, the elderly, and those with mobility issues. Every effort has been made to make the site as accessible as possible however visitors should note there are uneven surfaces through many areas.

Companion Card

Companion Card access applies to this event, the holder receives their general admission ticket free. Tickets can only be issued at the ticket booth on the day of admission. Companion Card holders will be required to pay for VIP access if needed, as this area is a limited licensed venue that includes meals and alcohol. 

Disabled amenities are available.

Car parking for accredited state disabled permit pass holders ONLY is available. Event-specific disabled car passes are not required. Disabled patrons DO NOT receive a discount on general admission.
Holders of a Companion Card receive their ticket free.

First Aid / Paramedics

A first aid paramedic facility will be located near the Queensland Aerobatic Club "Show Center" 

Food Stalls

A variety of gourmet food stalls will be available throughout the airshow site.

Golf Buggies

There will be no golf buggies available at the airshow for hire. Patrons are not permitted to bring their own.

Hours

Gates open 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday. No patrons will be admitted before 8:00 am.

Air display times:

10:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Sunday

Joy Flights

Passenger flights will be available in fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters at selected times throughout the weekend. Click here for details

Lockers

Lockers will not be available at the airshow.

Merchandise

A limited amount of commercial merchandise will be available for purchase.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are permitted on site however due to 4G and 5G network congestion reception may not always be available. Please understand that the airshow organisers have attempted to improve the network via communications with the various providers. Emergency services will operate on the Government Priority Network.  

Parking

There will be general admission parking available on site. Visitors will be directed to parking areas.

Pass Outs

Pass Outs are not available. Patrons that wish to leave and re-enter should retain their airshow ticket for this purpose.

Photographers Pass

Photographer passes are available for this event for only pre-arranged Photographers. Application must be approved, apply here.

Refunds

NO refunds will be available.

Scooters and Skateboards

Scooters and Skateboards will not be permitted on the airshow site.
